The Safe Passage charity has just won a case in the Court of Appeal. It argued that the 530 children from the Calais Jungle claiming a right of residence in the UK and rejected by the Home Office had to be told why they had been rejected. Now they have been dispersed all over France, it will be difficult to tell them – or even find them. According to Safe Passage, the Home Office kept the kids ignorant of its reasoning so they could not appeal against its decision. Makes you proud to be British.
